MUSIC MOMENTS 5/12/2025

Dear FBCBC Family and Friends,

What a great day at The Lord’s House today! We opened the service with “There’s honey in The Rock, water in the stone, manna on the ground where I go. I don’t need to worry now that I know everything I need, You’ve got. There’s honey in The Rock.” No wonder God said in Psalm 31:13 “Oh that My people would listen to Me. That Israel would walk in My Ways.” God wants us to walk in His Ways and be obedient to His Great Commission.

Robert Wayne sang “I’d rather have Jesus than silver or gold. I’d rather be His than have riches untold. I’d rather have Jesus than houses or land. I’d rather by led by His Nail-Pierced Hands.” Really? Can changing our attitude, change our conduct? Are we ready to give it up? Will we boldly speak His Message and truthfully say: “I’d rather have Jesus than anything this world affords today.”

Dear God, we confess that everything depends on You and without You we are nothing. So, we ask you to empower Your Church to speak the boldness of Your Message. Walking in Your Ways and confidentally praying in Your Name, as Your disciples did when You filled them with Your Holy Spirit, will strengthen us as your followers. God grant us the grace and boldness to continue Your Work that The First Church began so long ago. In The Mighty Name of Jesus, we pray . . . Amen.
