Breakfast of Champions

As I complete my first month as your youth minister, I want to take a moment to thank you—our congregation, and especially our parents—for your encouragement, prayers, and support. Ministry is never a solo effort, and I am deeply grateful to serve alongside a church family that is so invested in the next generation.

Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." This isn’t just the responsibility of parents or church leaders. It requires a community—an entire family of God—working together to raise young men and women who know Christ, love His Word, and live out their faith. Every prayer, encouraging word, and act of service helps build the foundation of our students’ spiritual lives.

I look forward to what God is going to do through our youth ministry, but even more, I am excited that we get to do this together as one body. Thank you for being an essential part of this work.

I also want to invite you to join us for the Breakfast of Champions prayer breakfast on Friday, September 5. This is a powerful opportunity to gather as a community, to lift up our schools, students, and leaders, and to show the next generation what it looks like when God’s people come together in prayer.

Let’s continue to walk this journey side by side, trusting God to do immeasurably more than we could ever ask or imagine.
