BK’S KORNER
Exodus chapter 12 discusses the plague of the death of the firstborn. This is where the Passover came from. The sacrament we get our Lord’s Supper from. God told everyone that Death was going to pass through the land that night. Death would kill the first born of all the land. Except where the blood was applied. Everywhere, EXCEPT where Death saw the blood. That house would be spared. 

Notice anything? Hmmm. Look again. The Lord never looked inside the house. He never looked to see who was inside. That is reassuring to say the least. He never looked to see if the people in the house were deserving. He just looked at the outside. If the blood was there, He passed over.
Good news! We are not deserving just requiring. Requiring His grace and mercy!

If you weren’t here for the anniversary celebration, then you missed it. It was really a fun time. It was great food and fellowship. Our ladies do first rate job at fellowship meals, and they did a great job here. The video was also very informative. I don’t know what I will do next time! It was a good time.

Just remember to pray. Pray for your church, community, and your One. Pray also for VBS.  Pray that kids will open their hearts up before God. I can’t stop thinking about the tragedy that happened over the weekend. I pray that never happens to us, but if it does, that we have done all that we could do to make sure everyone was saved. Prays for those families.
