BK’S KORNER
On this rock I will build my church! The words of Jesus. He’s talking about who He is! He is the Christ the Son of the Living God. The bottom line is no matter how bad it gets, God is still in control. He’s still alive and sovereign over everything. Psalm 46:1-2 says, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea:”. 

We have no reason to fear. If the earth fails to exist or if the mountains should crumble into the sea. Fear not! That’s what Jesus said. I will not be afraid. No matter what happens I will not be afraid. I will not be afraid when witnessing or preaching. I will not be afraid of rocks through our front door. I will not be afraid. 

I gave quite a few examples yesterday in my sermon to describe the darkness that our world is in. Judging by the feedback I guess there are many in our church that have that in their homes or family. Remember all we can do is live the life that God want us to live, and also pray. Prayer is the most important thing we can do. Prayer shines the light of Christ’s love into their hearts. 

So pray.

Pray for the lost.
