BK’S KORNER

You may say what kind of body will we have at the
Second Coming? The same question as the Corinthian’s
had in 1 Corinthians 15:35. Paul goes on to
say everything has a different body. I’ll make it
simple for us. We are a seed. Corn seed produce
corn, tomato seeds produce tomatoes. Just like
what the seed produce is not the same as the seed.
An ear of corn is not same as the seed. So our bodies
will be different. But there will be continuity.
The ear of corn carries the seed. It’s the same with
us. The Vietnamese used to have saying, “same
same, but different”. It’s the same with us, it’s the
same but different.

Think of Jesus resurrected body. There were times
when He was walking down the road with disciples,
and they didn’t even know who He was. Then
a little later He revealed Himself to them. Other
times He appeared through walls. Then he sat and
had fish with them. The same for us.

The main thing is that we can take comfort in
knowing that very thing. Comfort in knowing that
our loved ones are not just nonexistent. They are
alive! Alive and waiting for the second coming.
Well, that is all for now. Don’t forget to pray.
Pray that this Year we would experience Renewal
and Revival.
