BK’S KORNER
Resurrection Sunday is well behind us. It was a wonderful day. It was so good to see families worshipping together. It is really nice to see families at church together. You know, that could be every Sunday. Every Sunday is resurrection Sunday. Every Sunday is celebration of the resurrected Lord. That’s why we worship on Sundays instead of Saturdays. Acts 20:7 says, “Now on the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul, ready to depart the next day, spoke to them and continued his message until midnight.” 

Did you catch that. On the first day of the week. Somewhere in there they move the time they met from Saturdays the sabbath to Sundays. Resurrection Day!  It was to celebrate Christ’s resurrection from the dead. So you see, every Sunday is Easter. Every Sunday you should be making an effort to come with your family to worship the risen Lord! 

Be sure to be at and help out on our Sunday in the park. April 19, 2026 is the date. If nothing else, you can be there to make a new friend. You can talk to people. Open up your life to them. You may just find that they have struggles just like you. Or you may just find someone who likes to laugh. Just make a new friend. At any rate you will know them when they come to church. It makes all the difference.

Be sure to pray. Pray that we will experience renewal and revival here in our church. That’s us. You and me. We need it first. Then we can take it to our community.
