A TASTE OF CHRISTMAS

A TASTE OF CHRISTMAS – DECK THE HALLS – SUNDAY, DECEMBER 17, 2023, 5:30 P.M.

This is the joy-filled time of the year where our church family takes the opportunity to gather and share some food, fun and fellowship.  It gives us a chance to rejoice over the past year that the Lord has given us to serve at FBCBC.  It gives us a chance to reminisce over the joys and even the sorrows that we have been through as a church body.

The Music Ministry has in the past couple of years provided the music for our event.  We have used the theme, An Old Fashioned or Vintage Christmas over the last two years.  Everyone really enjoyed dressing in the fashion of the 1800’s and sang as a caroling choir.

This year’s theme, Deck the Halls will be different.  We will come as we are, dressed as we do in the present time.

Some are preparing solos, duets, etc. to perform for you that evening which will include classic Christmas carols and some songs of the season.  There will be a rambunctious performance of the 12 Days of Christmas, including the acting out of each verse of the song.  Did I mention there will be laughter that evening, along with a little toe-tapping?

Santa Claus will appear with gifts for all the girls and boys.  
Throughout the evening, with all the celebrating and laughter, we will always keep our faces and hearts turned to the true meaning of Christmas, which is Christ.  
So come out and let’s rejoice and celebrate together in the Lord Jesus Christ and be thankful for all the good things he has done for us.
