COME WORSHIP WITH THE HOPPERS . . .
We have been planning and I am looking forward to this coming Saturday, August 19, 2023 when The Hoppers will be here to lead us all in worship.  

There are no tickets being sold, so they are coming on faith that the love offering we receive for them will be exactly what God has planned for them to continue with their ministry to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

So, I hope you are making your plans to be there on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. (doors open at 5:00 p.m.)  Bring someone with you that maybe won’t attend a regular church service.  The gospel will be proclaimed!

HEART OF WORSHIP
When the music fades all is stripped away, and I simply come
Longing just to bring something that’s of worth that will bless Your heart
I’ll bring You more than a song, for a song in itself

You search much deeper within, through the ways things appear

We must worship the God of heaven, because He is the only one worthy of it!

I think being a singer makes me have to really think twice about what true worship is.  It can become all about the music if I’m not careful.  

Romans 12:1 “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship”.

As our Pastor said this past Sunday, true worship is the way we live our lives.  It’s every day, every minute, every second of our day.  Each thought and each word should be coming from a place where we remember Whose we are, Who we belong to.  We are children of the King. 

Galatians 3:26 “So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith.  Our faith in Jesus Christ confirms our identity as a child of God.”

I John 3:1 “See how much the Father loves us, we are called children of God.”

He never changes.  He is faithful.
