GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS

GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS . . .

I confess that sometimes in the mornings I am at my worst.  Satan really rears his ugly head and tries his best to discourage me and make me want to give up.  This is why it is so important to start the day reading God’s word and throwing ourselves before the throne.  This scripture was shared recently and my mind reverted back to it.  Lamentations 3:22-23 “…His compassions fail not….they are new every morning, great is Thy faithfulness”.

Sometimes I doubt my usefulness in God’s kingdom work.  Sometimes I doubt myself and that God loves me and wants to use me.  

But, God’s Word is alive and active.   Hebrews 4:12   “The word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart”.  

So, where is my heart?  I desire that it be turned toward God every minute of every day.  But, the struggle is real.  Satan hates us and wants us dead.  He doesn’t want us to have any peace at all.

Philippians 4:7 “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”.

I am leaning on these promises of God.  He’s got us!
