IF THEY KEEP SILENT, THE STONES WILL CRY OUT
“IF THEY KEEP SILENT, THE STONES WILL CRY OUT”
When Jesus was coming into Jerusalem riding on a donkey, people spread their cloaks on the road and the disciples began to praise God…
“Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord, peace in heaven and glory in the highest” Luke 19: 37 & 38.
Some of the Pharisees who were in the crowd that day were telling Jesus to rebuke his disciples and quiet them.
That’s when Jesus said, “If they keep silent, the stones will cry out” Luke 19: 40.
We held another choir practice this past Sunday afternoon preparing for our Gospel Singing – Night of Worship scheduled for Sunday, July 21, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. We practice every Sunday afternoon at 4:00 p.m.
I wish you all could see and hear these choir practices as we worship and praise the Lord. It is overwhelming as the Sprit of the Lord is in the place.
No rocks needed!
I’ve made mention before that singers who are “choir people” as I call them, get very excited when it’s time to come together and sing. I see it in their eyes. I hear it in their voices as those harmonies join and the room is filled with the sound of worship.
I ask that you pray for all of us as we prepare for our Night of Worship, and I pray that you come that night with your hearts prepared to worship our Lord.
We are looking forward to this special night where we will invite the community to join us as we lift our voices to the One True God.
It is all for His glory,
Debbie
