MUSIC MOMENT

Thank you for lifting your voices in praise to our Heavenly Father this past Sunday morning. It was wonderful to see your smiling faces as we sang in one accord.

This past week we challenged ourselves, the instrumentalists and Praise People to do some research regarding the songs we were singing. As we shared at practice it seemed to make a difference as we sang and played. The songs we have sung for years had a fresh new meaning once we discovered why some of them were written.

The Psalms were written as poems to praise God. The writers were expressing their feelings in different situations they were experiencing. The Psalms bring comfort to us as we read them and apply them to ease our hearts and minds.

So, now, we want to invite you to take a ride on the Song History Train. Some of you may know more than you find on the internet. So, we encourage you to check out a song.
