PRAISE FOREVER TO THE KING OF KINGS
PRAISE FOREVER TO THE KING OF KINGS
GOD OF GLORY, MAJESTY
The body of Christ met together this past Sunday at FBCBC for the purpose of worshipping our Father. Keeping our minds on Him and our hearts tuned toward Him, we sang praises to our Lord. We asked the Holy Spirit to fill us as we strained our ears to hear what God had to say to us from His Word.
I come expectantly each Sunday waiting for the Lord to speak and guide. Every word we sing is meant to lead the eyes and ears of our hearts to the place where we can let the Word of God saturate us with truth.
It seems that the weekdays we live in leading up to the next Sunday when we gather, is an all-out war zone at times. That’s the truth! Satan is always looking for a way in. A way to discourage and aggravate and break the hearts of God’s children. He will keep on until the end, because he knows he has already lost the war. He uses people to do his work and we have to be reminded of Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world . . .”
I need this reminder because the people we come in contact with during the week, some of the ones Satan uses, are the very ones we are commissioned to tell about Jesus and His love. Those are the ones Satan will use against us because He doesn’t want us telling them of Christ.
Oh my, the ones I try to avoid! What a wake up call!
“And though these are days of great of trial
Of famine and darkness and sword
Still, we are the voice in the desert crying
Prepare ye the way of the Lord”
For His glory,
Debbie
