PSALMS, HYMNS AND SPIRITUAL SONGS

“singing and making melody to the Lord with our heart…..”  Eph 5:19

I love Sunday’s at FBCBC, when we all gather to sing, pray, and hear the Word.  The time we can stop the worries on our hearts and in our minds and just meditate on the Lord and His goodness.  

The choir is preparing for our Night of Worship — Gospel Hymn Sing July 30, 2023. We practice each Sunday at 4:00 p.m. in the choir room.  Any of you are welcome to come and sing with us.  It is a time of fellowship, laughter and most of all worship.

The Holy Spirit is with us in this place as we sing.  He is encouraging us as we practice.  

We are singing some of the old hymns that most of the time we don’t hear any more.    

“Til the storm passes over, till the thunder sounds no more
Till the clouds roll forever from the sky
Hold me fast, let me stand in the hollow of Thy hand
Keep me safe till the storm passes by”

“I don’t know about tomorrow, I just live from day to day

Making music with my friends

And the story never ends”

Just a few of the songs we are preparing to lead at our gospel singing.  There are many more.  

This will be an old-fashioned gospel singing.  If you love these songs and you know of others who love them also, I hope you make plans to come and bring them with you.
