THROUGH IT ALL

THROUGH IT ALL . . .
I’ve had many tears and sorrows. I’ve had questions for tomorrow
There’ve been times I didn’t know right from wrong
But in every situation God gave blessed consolation
That my trials come to only make me strong

I love this hymn. It speaks to every trial that we’ve ever had in our life.

I know I’ve seen joys and sorrows in my life, ups and downs and twists and turns. We all have. But, through everything I know who is in control. I know who dictates the steps of my life and I know who has the answer to every question.

One of the joys that I’ve experienced is the Lord’s leading me to lead worship at First Baptist Bridge City. It was a complete surprise to me when I felt that call and you voted me in back in April of 2017.

This past seven years I have had the joy of leading worship, as well as musicals, and concerts. There has been so much cooperation from you all through your prayers and all the help in every one of these endeavors. God always blessed and it was always for His glory.

My faith has grown in leaps and bounds and I am so thankful for every minute I’ve served here. I say all of this to say that June 30, 2024 will be my last Sunday at FBCBC. My heart is full and I have some sadness, but I trust the Lord.

I love this church and I know you will continue to grow and thrive and it is always…..
