Youth Ministry Update

Church Family,
We have a couple of exciting things coming up for our youth! Hot Hearts is coming! It is always a meaningful time of worship, teaching, and fellowship for our students, and we’re looking forward to what God will do through it again this year. The cost to attend is $60, and we encourage students to sign up as soon as possible.

Also, be sure to mark your calendars for our Youth Christmas Party on December 17. This will be a fun and festive evening as we celebrate the joy of the season together with food, games, and fellowship. More details will be shared soon.

As we approach Christmas, Pastor Keith has been walking us through the story of Ruth. Boaz showed kindness and generosity to Ruth long before she had done anything to earn it. As a foreigner and a widow, Ruth had no claim on Boaz’s favor, yet he protected her, provided for her, and ultimately redeemed her. His actions are a beautiful picture of unmerited grace.

In the same way, God extends grace to us not because of what we have done, but because of who He is. Like Ruth, we are recipients of a love we could never earn. And just as Boaz’s grace changed Ruth’s future, God’s grace through Jesus Christ transforms our lives completely. As we lead our students, may we never lose sight of this truth, that we serve a gracious Redeemer, and we are called to reflect that same grace to others.
