We just returned from the Who’s Your One conference at Champion Forest Baptist Church in Houston. There were 8 of us who went.  I think we were all inspired to become more evangelistic in our daily lives as well as our church life.  Please pray for your staff and church leaders as we attempt to lead the way in the evangelization of our community. 

Pumpkin Patch is off to a great start.  Things really picked up this past weekend.  We do have another half a load coming this Saturday at 9 am.  We can use all the help we can get.  In all honesty with only a half load we can get it knocked out quickly if we get a lot of help. Also, please sign up to help work in the Patch when you can. Watch for emails with open spots or just give me a call. 

Don’t forget that we will have a speaker from Gideons International joining us Sunday morning during the worship service.  The reason I tell you this is because we will be collecting an offering for them, and I want you to be prepared.  You may feel led to give a monetary gift to ensure that copies of the scripture are distributed locally and worldwide.

We have our Fall Festival coming up.  Please bring individually wrapped candy for us to give away.  Also, Sunday School classes/departments please plan your booths for the festival.  Also pray about Fall Festival.  Over the last year or so we have become much more intentional about sharing the gospel with people who attend the festival. Pray that the Spirit of God would draw people to Him.

Fall is a busy time of year in the life of the church.  Find an opportunity to plug in.  Serve in some capacity.  Attend often.  Find a Sunday School class. Give regularly. Pray for the leadership. Worship wholeheartedly. 

Remember God’s faithfulness and His forgiveness.  Don’t forget to praise and thank God on Tuesdays. And Move Forward!  If you don’t know what any of that means, then you should have been here Sunday morning!
