BK’S KORNER
Pumpkin season is coming to a close here at The First Baptist Church.  It has really been a good season. Many of you have asked about how much money we have made. I will have final numbers for you after Thursday.  I do know we are basically on track for an average year. We have already sold over $20k in pumpkins. The Patch should still be busy this week as Halloween approaches.

I think the community is really beginning to enjoy the Patch. I know that I have been told and others who have also worked the Patch have been told by people how much they enjoy coming to the Pumpkin Patch every year. I have seen one lady bring her child out multiple times in the evenings just to ride the tricycle ride and run around in the Patch. Someone told me that they saw a family come out and have a picnic. I have seen families playing Badminton. Of course, many come out for the photo opportunities that the Pumpkin Patch provides. This is really part of the purpose of the Pumpkin Patch, to provide an opportunity for families to be together and make memories.

A great big Thank You to all of you who have helped in any way to make the Pumpkin Patch the success that it is. It is a big undertaking, but you all always step up and help make it happen. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

The Pumpkin Patch closing is the signal that November is here.  It is officially the Fall Season for our church. We will have our Thanksgiving Dinner and then move into all of our regular Christmas activities.  Let us not get bogged down in the activity of the church and forget what it means to BE the Church.  May we continue to pray for the lost. Minister to the grieving and the sick. Continue to proclaim the gospel.

Pray.
Pray for the lost.
Pray for your One.
Pray for the sick
Pray for the grieving.
Pray for our church.
Pray for our community.
Pray for a Spirit Filled church.

Love and Blessings
