BK’S KORNER
Where does the time go? I mean it is already October. It feels like we just had Christmas. Here I am about to be a year older. My kids are grown and I have so many things I need to do that I still haven’t accomplished.
James 4:14 tells us that life is like “…. A vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.” You catch that? Life is short. It is here and then just like that it is gone. It is short. There’s not a lot of it.
So Paul tell us in Ephesians 5:15-16 to make sure that we live our lives wisely. He warns that we need to be very careful about how we live our lives. We need to make sure that we “redeem the time…” In other words to make the most of the time we have. To use our time purposefully and intentionally.
We need to have priorities for our time. Obviously your family will be very high. In fact, I would say that relationships should be high on that list. Make sure that you don’t forget your relationship with God. Remember you were created you for fellowship with Him. He created for relationship. Walking with God should the highest priority of our lives. Everything else about our lives will flow from our relationship with Him.
The time is flying by. Take God off of the back burner and determine to prioritize your relationship with Him. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
The Pumpkin Patch is off to great start. Thank you to all who have helped out so far. Keep Saturday October the 15th open for another partial load of pumpkins. I will confirm if this is the case very soon. Please sign up to help work in the Patch.
Have a great week. Blessings to you all.
