I know that you all are wanting to know about the final numbers for the Pumpkin Patch. So, here they are.  We sold $23,787.00 worth of pumpkins.  Our share of that is 35%.  So we keep $8325.00.  We also had $1388.00 in donations. Therefore, our total from the Pumpkin Patch is $9713.00. This money is used to support missions. The following are some of the things we have used the Pumpkin Patch/Missions money on.

Water wells in Honduras. First Saturday give away. Dream Center (drug rehabilitation.). Hope Women’s Resource Clinic and Embrace Grace (crisis pregnancy). Disaster Relief (Hurricanes, tornadoes, house fires). Outreach Port Arthur (international ministry in Port Arthur Area). I know there are other mission/outreach events and ministries that we have used this money for that I am just not thinking of at the moment. This is a great ministry for our community and allows us to make a difference in so many areas for hurting people. 

It never ceases to amaze me when God shows me the different people in whose life He is working. God truly is amazing and unpredictable. It serves as a reminder to me to pray for whoever He lays on my heart.  You never know what He is going to do. You never know when it is going to happen. My responsibility is just to pray. Pray for my “One” and anyone else He burdens my heart with. 

Pray that God will use our church during the holiday season to touch people’s hearts with the gospel.  The holiday services are a great time to invite friends and family to worship. We generally do something special. They are uplifting and the gospel is unashamedly shared. Invite someone to our Thanksgiving Banquet. They can worship with us and then share a meal. 

Continue to invite friends to Sunday School and church. Continue to pray for our community and church family. Pray that God would fill us with His Spirit for His glory. Pray for your Sunday School teacher. Pray for your deacons. Pray for your Worship leader, praise singers and all the instrumentalists.  Let us pray in everything.
