We are fast approaching the Easter Season.  This is the big celebration day for Christians all over the world. We will all be celebrating the resurrection of our Savior. The day that death and the enemy were defeated and our salvation was confirmed. I would like for you to think of something else as we move into the Easter Season. I would like for you to consider that Jesus’ resurrection assures you of your resurrection. You and I both will also experience the resurrection from the dead. 

When Jesus went to raise Lazarus from the dead He had a conversation with Martha where He said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.”  In 1 Corinthians 15:20 Paul says, “But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.”  Jesus is the first to be resurrected and He gives validation that all those who die in Him will also be resurrected. 

He is the resurrection as He tells Martha.  It is in Him. It is through Him. It is by Him. It is Him.

Be sure to join us on Sunday March 24 which is Palm Sunday.  On that Sunday morning we will celebrate our redemption in Christ by observing the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper. Then on Sunday Evening come at 5:30 pm and enjoy a choir/drama presentation of A Picture of Calvary.

Anyone is invited to join a new Sunday evening New Members Class. This class will be led by Carol Segura and Julia Morris.  The class will lead students through Survival Kit for New Believers. The class will also cover how our church operates and functions. They will look at the Constitution and By Laws, how to read our financial statement, tour the church and other things.  If you are interested in any of that then please feel free to attend. The first class will meet on April 7 at 5:30 pm.  Please call the church office and let us know if you are interested. 

Don’t forget to bring the kids and grandkids to the Easter Eggstravaganza Egg hunt on Saturday, March 23 at 10:00 a.m. Stay alert for all of the upcoming happenings through the spring and summer.

Pray for the lost.
Pray for workers in God’s field.
