BK’S KORNER
I want to make again the point that I closed with on Sunday.  Matthew 16:18 says, “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” (emphasis mine). The church that is moving forward in God’s will. The church that is moving forward advancing the kingdom of God by following His purposes, cannot fail. The enemy forces cannot hold back the church that is advancing kingdom purposes.

Pray that we will always have God’s purpose as our purpose.  Be involved to help us do God’s kingdom work. We are assured that we can and will make a difference here in our community. 

We are going to need all hands on deck for our Spring Egg-stravaganza! Please come and help us.  We will begin set up at 7:30 am on Saturday, April 1. Let us provide something that will attract our community while at the same time giving us an opportunity to meet them, pray with them and share the gospel with them. 

Continue to pray for your “One”. There is no greater way to be involved in advancing God’s kingdom than to be interceding for someone or our community.  I hope that God has laid “One” on your heart so that you can pray specifically for someone to come into a real relationship with God. There will be a local “Who’s Your One” event coming soon to our area.  Be on the look out for information about it.  I plan for us to attend. 

Please continue to be in prayer for your staff, SS Teachers, Deacons and events that are upcoming here at The First Baptist Church.  Without Christ we can do nothing.  We are dependent upon your prayers in our lives.

Continue to face each day with your heart set on God’s Truth. Live close to Him and in a right relationship with Him daily. Place yourself in His will and follow His purposes.  These things will help guard you from the schemes that the enemy will use to come at you.  It will guard you from his attacks.
