BK’S KORNER
I do hope you will plan to attend our Church wide Sunday School emphasis on April 10. We will all meet for breakfast in the Family Life Center at 8:30. Then the kids will go to their classes and all of the adults will stay in the gym while Mark Mannino will teach a class to all of the adults.
Actually I want to encourage you to find a Sunday School class to attend on a regular basis. What you will find there is people just like you trying to figure out how to walk with God through this life. You will find imperfect people who have the same struggles as you. You will find people who will be happy to have you join with them.
Hiram mentioned something in his Testimony yesterday. He really said it in passing, but it struck a chord with me. What you will also find in a Sunday School class are teachers who have spent time studying a lesson so that they can facilitate discussion and show you truths from God’s word. They have prayed and studied so that they can minister to you. They put in time and effort. It is a huge encouragement to them when you attend.
I would also like to invite you to an informational meeting on the BCISD Bond Proposal here at our church on Thursday April 14, at 7:00 pm. The meeting will be led by BCISD Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mike Kelly. There will be about a 45 minute presentation and then a Q & A session. If you have questions about the Bond proposal or are just curious then please feel free to come. Invite anyone you like. This meeting is open to the entire community.
Just a little FYI. I put out a short (around 5 min.) video every morning Monday thru Friday. I have been going through the Psalms. So each day I share a little bit from the Psalms. You can find the video on my Facebook page, church Facebook page, my YouTube page or there is even a link on our website. Anyhow, if you’re interested check it out!
Blessings to you all
