BK’S KORNER
Yesterday was a good day in The Lord. We gathered to Study His Word and worship in the morning and then we gathered for fellowship in the evening. The Sunday evening Youth Bake Auction was a big success once again.  We do want to continue to support Cody and our youth in our church. 

1 Corinthians 12:20-26 says that we all need each other.  We are all part of the same body.  There is no part of the body that we do not need.  This means that we need our youth ministry and we need the youth in our church. It goes on to say that if one part of the body suffers then we all suffer and if one member is honored then we should all rejoice together. We need them as much as they need us.  We are responsible as a body for their discipleship. It is all of our responsibility not just one person.  Supporting their activities throughout the year is one way we can encourage them in the Lord.  

Thank you to all who baked and bought.  Again, it was a great time of gathering as the body. 

I hope that you will attend, help with and spread the word about our Spring Eggstravaganza!   We will need a lot of help as we are going to invite our entire community. Please be in prayer about this event.  We want our community to know that we love and care about them.  We want to get to know them. We want them to have a positive attitude about our church.  We want them to desire to be a part of Christ’s body here at The First Baptist Church.  

Who’s Your One? Who are you praying for?  Who has God laid on your heart that He wants to use you to reach.  Don’t be intimidated.  Don’t try to force the issue.  Just simply begin to pray for that person and watch and see how God will create an opportunity for you to minister to that person.  

You will want to stay tuned in and in touch with the church family.  You won’t want to miss anything that God does here during the coming year.
