BK’S KORNER
Yesterday in the sermon I gave a great deal of emphasis to us being intercessors.  Intercessory prayer is the key that will take our church forward. You see, there really is nothing that we can do to bring someone to Christ. Only God can do that.  Only the Spirit of God can touch someone and draw them to Himself.  Therefore, the critical role for us is to be intercessors.  We must pray for our church, our community and our One. Who’s Your One?  Who are you praying for to come to Christ?  One thing I forgot to mention yesterday is that I do have a 30 day prayer guide to help you with praying for your One. It is a very simple guide. It actually has a prayer written for you for each day. It is an excellent tool to use if you are unsure how to pray for your One.  I just ask you to make a commitment to pray for our church, community and the lost.  

I want to make you aware of something. As you are fully aware we removed the old tile from the Education Bldg.  We have been just walking on the concrete until we can pay for new flooring. We estimate new flooring will cost us around $20,000. We can find about $15,000 toward that flooring.  So we just need about $5000 more to be able to get new flooring.  I am only making you aware of where we are so that if you feel led you may donate to our flooring.  Maybe you have a little extra money that you have been wanting to give and were wondering where it could be used.  Anyhow, if you are unable or do not feel led to give to this then please don’t feel bad about it.  This is something extra and I’m just letting you know.
