Can you believe that we are almost to June? We are about to be in summer mode. We are almost halfway through the year. The Pumpkins will be here before you know it. September 23 to be exact. Therefore, make sure to keep your calendars clear for Saturday September 23 at 9 am. We will have a load of pumpkins.

Did you know that one of the fastest growing areas in our church is in the small children? First and foremost, that is actually a very good sign. It is certainly a positive from a church growth perspective.  However, it also means that we need to start being proactive to accommodate people. It also means that we are going to have to give of our time to minister to these children. Did you notice the group that came down for Children’s Church on Sunday? We need to divide that into two groups.  Pre-k to 2nd grade is really a big range. Dividing the group will make it more manageable and allow us to better target the age groups.  Please consider helping. We need helpers and those willing to be the leader.  Please do not be afraid to volunteer to be the leader. Everything is done for you. The lesson plans are made for you.  Everything you need will be there. All you have to do is pick up your plan. The more teams we can put together the less often you have to do it.  Please contact Jordan Haynes if willing to help. You can contact the church office and we can put you in touch with her. You will need to take our Ministry Safe program if you haven’t already. Please pray about helping in this area.

The Sunday School Fellowships are continuing.  Thank you all for participating.  I have had nothing but positive feedback about these fellowships. They are building the unity that I had hoped.  People are getting to know one another. Relationships are being built. 

We are very close to being able to start looking seriously at replacing the flooring in our education building.  If you would like to make a donation toward that, then please feel free to do so.  You can put it in an envelope and mark it for “Floor”. You can also bring it by the church office.
