God created you
God formed you
God redeemed you
God called you by name (you belong to Him).

Think about it.  God has held nothing back from you.  He was willing to give His only son to die for you.  He paid the price to set you free from the penalty and the power of sin. But then again, why wouldn’t He? I mean He created you.  He made you. You belong to Him.  

Romans 8:32 rings so true,  “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?”  Why would we ever think that God would hold back anything from us that would be beneficial or helpful to us. 

We have wrapped up our Experiencing God study.  Those who participated have been inspired and challenged.   If you didn’t take the course with us, I suggest that if you are interested you could do it on your own.  I think you will gain insight into God working as well. In fact, I think we have a few more books.  If  you would like one then feel free to come by and pick one up.

I would also recommend that those who went through the course do it again.  In the beginning of the course it was probably like “drinking water from a fire hydrant.” Now you can look at it more deliberately and with a little more understanding.

I feel like things are going to start moving quickly in our church.  You will need to stay connected in order to know what is happening and when.  So stay in touch.

Remember to be a Secret Prayer Agent.  I am already hearing stories of people talking about praying in places they never have before. Also please join us for a little church family time out at Claiborne Park on Sunday evening the 15th. See the ad in this newsletter for time and what food to bring.  As for games, bring whatever you like. Horse shoes, corn hole, washers, softball equipment, bicycles, fishing rods … anything you like!   We will see you there. 

God is at work somewhere around you.  Look to see where that is happening and then join Him.
