BK’S KORNER
Ready. Set. Go. It’s here. Basically the fall season of church life is here and it is time to move forward. Everyone is back in school. Vacations are over and we are settling back in to life. Don’t settle in to the monotony of everyday grinding life, but juice it up by deciding to live a life that will make a difference. Determine to live a life that God will use to make a difference in your home, school, workplace and community.

There is a “Who’s Your One” evangelism training workshop coming October 10. You will be trained, inspired and encouraged to live a life that God uses to reach others with the gospel. The event is on Monday, Oct 10 from 8:30 – 11:30. It will be held at Champion Forest Baptist Church in Houston Tx. We will take the church van and leave here at about 6:30 am. We will stop somewhere for lunch on the way home. Please let me know if you would like to go.

Don’t forget to come help set up the Pumpkin Patch this Saturday at 9 am. Then don’t forget to come help unload the pumpkins on Saturday Sept 24 at 9 am. The sign up sheets are out for working the Pumpkin Patch so please sign up to work!

Just a reminder for us to seriously and fervently pray for God to move in our community. I actually believe that I can see God putting that hunger for Him into people’s lives. I hear and see their hunger to know God. We must share the truth of the gospel with our community. No hype, just the truth.

Also pray for God to move in our church family. We need Him to energize us with the filling of His Spirit. We need this filling for our worship, prayers, and evangelism. All of our ministries are in need of the hand of God.
