The Gospel Witness

Sunday we continued our study in Philippians, “The Joy of the Gospel”, by highlighting the text, Phil. 2:12-18. Paul after encouraging them to engrain humility into their lives, speaks of the witness a humble life bears. Our salvation in Christ is certain and set, but our living it is a daily work we undergo. Complaining is easy and natural. No person needs to be taught how to be pessimistic. We who are recipients of the Gospel, must train ourselves to see the joy in all things. Being joyful and optimistic bears a witness of Christ and that we truly believe He is in control. What is your common demeanor? Are you being a positive or negative witness for Christ?
