Resurrection Dying

In Corinthians 15:50-58, Paul demonstrates that death has no hold against the believer in Christ. In fact, death is what the believer uses to bring life to others. The power of the resurrection means we do not make our life about ourselves, but use it and die to self, to bring Christ to others. We can be encouraged, emboldened, and empowered knowing that our “labor is not in vain” when our labor is centered on Christ. Our work bears abundant fruit, often what we cannot even see. We can be resolute and fearless in the face of personal sacrifice, great risk, even death itself because of Christ. Death is no longer our curse, but our gift we give to exalt Christ.
