Resurrection Living

The resurrection of Christ changes everything. In 1 Corinthians 15:35-49, Paul is declaring that our earthly understanding will pale in comparison to the reality of resurrection living. We will not be the same and our earthly existence is only a shadow of what is to come. We have been and lived as “the man of dust” limited by the ball of dirt we occupy. (v.49) We are destined to “bear the image of the man of heaven.” (v.49) We will not be the same. It starts when we surrender and submit ourselves to Christ, trusting in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. If we have been united with such power as is contained in the resurrection, the transformation should be taking place in our present state with the culmination to come. Resurrection living is a new life lived out in God’s power. Is the resurrection evident in your life? Is your life empowered by God?
