Why a Savior? Part III

Are you hungry? Sunday we will continue our look at the question, “Why a Savior?” John 6:35-51 will be the main the text we will focus on. Jesus offers himself as the Bread of Life. The people reject him based on their perceived knowledge of who Jesus is believing they know enough about Jesus. Many of us today sense we know enough about Jesus. We have a list of facts we can recite and we can tell the story, but do we know Jesus as Jesus is? Jesus states those who are hungry and thirsty can come to him and never hunger or thirst again. It is our desperate need that must drive us to Jesus. When we fool ourselves into thinking we do not have a need for Jesus, we miss Jesus. Are you hungry enough?
